Privacy Policy:
Privacy issues are important to us. Be assured that any information provided to Mucklow Media will be held in strict confidence. We will not disclose, rent or sell your personal information to unaffiliated third parties.
All associated information and documentation provided by you will be held in strict confidence and under normal circumstances will never be shared with any third party. In the case of fraudulent transactions, information and documentation may be shared with investigative agencies and legal authorities.
Quotation:
Quotations are valid for 14 days and are non-binding. Pricing is subject to change upon the full scope of the project.
Project Scope:
Prior to the commencement of work, all projects will be fully scoped and a list of duties created. A contract, or Web Work Agreement, will be drawn accordingly. Should the scope exceed the initial quotation, Mucklow Media will submit a quotation for approval before proceeding.
Project Materials:
All materials required for the production of the project that are not included in the Web Work Agreement will be provided by the client. These include copy, photographs, digital media, and logos. Materials will be delivered in electronic format for PC, or additional fees may incur for typing, scanning, and file conversion. Copy provided will be proofread and edited.
Queue:
Client wait time varies depending on the numbe of clients before you. If you have a project deadline, please contact us before ordering to see if it will work with the current projected queue times.
Communication:
The design process is a rapid-fire of email and online communication. It requires clients to be at the computer consistently during the design process. Progress requires client acceptance at frequent intervals. If the client fails to respond in a timely manner, that project will be delayed until a time when regualr communication is possible. Consults, training and orientation take place via Skype or Google Talk. Both are free resources. If client fails to communicate in 36 hours, the project will be cycled back into the queue.
General Terms for Web Design/Development:
All website design requires client approval before the final payment is made on the account on projects where payments are split. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure there are no typographical or grammatical errors. Upon approval the client accepts the graphic art design, layout, and content of the product as is. Final payment for work constitutes final approval by client.
In the event, the client discovers an error within 14 calendar days of site design, it is understood that:
Errors caused by the programming of the site/application may be re-programmed / optimized / addressed at the expense of Mucklow Media, and will be at the discretion of Mucklow Media.
Errors caused by lack of complete or appropriate specifications by the client will be corrected at the client’s expense.
Errors, including typographical or grammatical, not corrected during client approval will be corrected at the client’s expense.
Disatisfaction with the general look, layout, color, art, or content are not covered under warranty of service and are non-refundable.
Any changes to the originally approved specifications are billable at the client’s expense.
Browser Compatibility:
Designs are created to be compatible with the most recent release of Firefox, Safari, Chrome and {the inferior} Internet Explorer. Clients are responsible for running the most current version of the preferred browser before the design process begins. Mucklow Media makes no guarantee that designs will work properly on outdated or obscure web browsers. Currently, designs are guaranteed on Safari 3 and above, IE 7 and 8, Firefox 3 and above and Chrome (which updates automatically).
Liability:
Mucklow Media does not guarantee sales or success of websites or blogs. Clients are responsible for sales, promotion and income, and Mucklow Media is not liable for ministry, business or personal success.
Website and Marketing:
Client agrees that design projects may be featured on Mucklow Media websites and/or promotional materials.
Fees:
An initial deposit of 50% is required before work on a web project begins; except for Package A which requires full payment ($325.00) prior to project start. The 50% balance is to be paid on completion and acceptance by the client and prior to making the website accessible to the public.
Additional Fees:
If the quantity of materials delivered by the client exceed the number of agreed upon pages, or if programming differs from the duties specified in the Web Work Agreement, additional fees may apply. Moreover, the client will reimburse Mucklow Media for expenses of production not included in the Web Work Agreement. These expenses could include copy writing, digital photography, and stock photography. These fees will be invoiced after the completion of the web project.
Payment:
Credit card payments can be made through PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card. We do not accept personal checks. We will accept cashier’s check and Postal money order by mail. In the case of payment by mail, payment must be made in full before the project begins. Clients may elect to receive email, or hard copy invoices. Payment is due upon invoicing.
Cancellations:
Deposits are non-refundable but a refund for any work not yet preformed minus a ten percent overhead fee is available if notified by a phone call or email within five business days of the scheduled start of the work.
Refunds:
The client will pay for any work done by Mucklow Media up to the point at which the work or service has been canceled. Though cancellation may be due to the level of satisfaction in a project, all sales are final and nonrefundable. To avoid cancellation per unsatisfaction, thorough task lists, descriptions, examples, etc, should be given to the provider at the beginning of the project. Mucklow Media is not liable for the client’s judgment on the provider’s style, standard, and/or work ethic and the client will be solely responsible for the final decision to request a project from said provider. No refunds will be made for any work which has been completed.
Acceptance of Terms:
By submitting your deposit you agree to the terms and conditions listed here. You are responsible for adhering to the terms and conditions listed here, even if you didn’t read them.
